Sachham Home

Sachham Nepal began as a residential home for single mothers and their children, founded by Kathrin Baumgartner. Since we still care for children and young people who, for various reasons, cannot grow up with their parents, we continue to run a small residential home, managed by Anjali Shresta. Part of this program is also teaching the children and young people to take responsibility for themselves and others.

Since spring 2021, the young people have been living in their new home in Sundarijal on the outskirts of Kathmandu, which optimally meets their current requirements and needs. A good school is also located nearby.

There are currently four young people living in our home.
