Sachham Home

 

At the beginning of 'Sachham Nepal' there was a residential home for single mothers and their children, which was founded by Kathrin Baumgartner. Since we still look after children and young people who cannot grow up with their parents for various reasons, we continue to run a small residential home, run by Anjali Shresta. Part of this program is that the children and young people learn to take responsibility for themselves and others.

Since spring 2021, the young people have been living in their new home on the outskirts of Kathmandu, in Sundarijal, which optimally meets their current requirements and needs. There is also a good school near the home.

There are currently five young people living in our home.
